Famous in China for making imprinted teas, Osmanthus flowers are mixed with fine black tea leaves and pressed several times with a heavy weight to impart the flowers’ natural oils into the tea. Looking almost as beautiful as it tastes, our Redolent Natural Osmanthus is a wonderfully fragrant and fruity tea that pays homage to the ancient art of imprinting, showing golden Osmanthus petals peeking through the black tea leaves. With a bright reddish-orange infusion that suggests a setting sun and a wonderfully fragrant aroma, the taste of the tea flits between floral and fruity before gradually softening to a pleasant floral aftertaste.
